Imagine the state of your body. You just slept for hopefully longer than 6 hours. You had nothing to drink for the past 6 hours at least. Not only that, your body just went through a repair phase, using everything that you put in it the day before to fix its issues.
The first thing most people put in their body (and because it’s first is also why it hits so hard) is coffee. Coffee does have some good properties, and definitely good vibes, but it probably is not the optimal drink for your daily routine.
Rather than running straight for the coffee maker in the morning, run for the fridge and grab some fruits. Let the abundance of nature be the first thing that your body absorbs. Try this for a week, and you’ll notice a massive difference in your health, your mind, and your body.
I usually keep it simple. My smoothies are made in a 2 year-old Nutribullet (it’s still holding up, so I keep using it, everyday).
My smoothies are simple like I said and all that I usually put in them is:
- Orange Juice
- Pineapple Juice
- Celery
- Frozen Strawberries
- Frozen Blueberries
There’s a ton of more recipes out there, but this is my go-to for a morning smoothie.
That’s really it. I choose to do the frozen strawberries and blueberries because they are an incredible value. I just got like 4 pounds of frozen blueberries for like 5 bucks. Incredible! Imagine walking to a blueberry field and picking them yourself. Although I would love that if I didn’t have to work everyday, I just don’t have the time. So then, I am a firm believer in the frozen fruits.
I hope this helps you in your quest for the perfect morning routine.
