Many moons ago as a young Hulkster, I watched Hulk lose to the Ultimate Warrior. It was back in 1990 I believe. I was about 9 years old, and it was so sad to me then, but it had no bearing on my view of Hulk. Hulk Hogan was MY hero!

From the beginning, Hulk Hogan always had a positive message and quality posture towards a broken world.

I looked up to Hulk. He was a man’s man, and I needed that as a child so badly.

Some of the things he said stick with me to this day:

  1. “Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?”
  2. “Say your prayers and eat your vitamins!”
  3. “To all my little Hulkamaniacs, say your prayers, take your vitamins, and you will never go wrong.”
  4. “Hulkamania is the strongest force in the universe!”
  5. “I fear no man, no beast or evil, brother.”
  6. “The power of Hulkamania and the training, the prayers, and the vitamins will live forever!”
  7. “Whether it’s in front of 10 people or 10 million people, brother, I give it my all!”
  8. “I’m the man who made wrestling famous!”
  9. “You better eat your vitamins and say your prayers, because Hulkamania is coming for you!”
  10. “Train, say your prayers, eat your vitamins, be true to yourself, and be a real American!”

What a legacy Hogan left us! You will be missed dearly Hulk. Glad to hear of the news of your faith upon leaving this earth.

See you on the other side, brother.
