Don’t let your past haunt you, and don’t haunt others because of their past. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone does things they shouldn’t.

People always have the option to repent of their wrongdoings and turn their life around. You have to give yourself a chance and give others a chance.

Imagine if a drug dealer got locked up. While he was in prison, he decided to turn his life around. Once he gets out, society and humanity should by all means give him a chance and not hang over his head how evil he was. The same thing applies to even the smallest wrongdoings.

If the person involved in those things turns away, don’t haunt them with what they did or who they were. Embrace them for who they are now and their hope for the future.

We can’t change our past, but we can repent and turn away from the evil of our past and walk towards a bright and shiny new future.
