Want to know the secret to creating massive results?
The answer is simpler than you could ever imagine.
Have you ever been in the middle of doing something that required a lot of concentration, but couldn’t concentrate because of noise?
The noise we are referring to here could be one of many things, or a combination of all. I’m going to drop a list right here for you of things that can totally take you off course.
Before I drop the list, I wanted to share a piece of advice: pay attention. Pay attention to the things in your life that are distracting you from your goal. If you don’t pay attention to them and only focus on your goal, it’s like an unseen force is taking you under, but really, you’re just not paying attention to the right things.
If you have a goal, keep your eyes on it, but don’t let the distractions slip in and wipe you out. You will be sitting there wondering,
Why did this take so long to accomplish?– You
The reality is, you weren’t paying attention to the things that could harm you.
When I was young, my father let me play with a hammer. I would walk around his garage and ask him if I could hammer something (walls, workbench, rocks, etc.) and he would always look and say, “Sure buddy.” I asked him so much that he began to think I was just asking to hammer silly things. He began not to watch me and paid more attention to his radio project on the bench. I asked him if I could hammer the next thing, and without looking, he said, “Sure buddy.” Immediately following, there was a sound of crashing glass. I thought it was a good idea to tap the hammer on the headlight of my parents car.
If you don’t pay attention to the things that are distracting you from your work, your goals, your dreams, your business ideas, and the success you deserve for you and your family, they can sneak up on you unannounced and make huge waves in your life.
I’m going to drop the list here for you of things to pay attention to while building your dream:
- non-urgent text messages
- social media
- not having time for yourself
- not allowing time for your family
- focusing on material things
- seeking after the approval of others
- narrow-mindedness
- lack of sleep
- addictions
- alcohol abuse
- infrequent visits into nature
- bad / poor diet
- failure to exercise
- failure to pursue your spouse or significant other
- ignoring relationships
- reaching out to others
- charity
- increasing spirituality
These things, dependent on what they are, whether ignored or attended to, could create noise or balance in your life either now or later on. Focus on what’s next but pay attention.
